GABRIEL D FOWLER

Gabriel Fowler was born and raised in Upstate New York. He dedicated much of his life to sports until suffering a knee injury playing football at fifteen. At that point, his mind turned to storytelling. After graduating in 2007, he spent a semester in Thailand as an exchange student before attending Liberty University and studying Journalism.

Upon college graduation, he worked several jobs while continuing to hone his writing with short stories, poetry, and novels. At twenty-five, Gabriel decided it was time to travel. He spent two weeks in Ethiopia partnering with his parents and their non-profit, then spent three months backpacking around nine countries in Europe.

After returning, Gabriel moved to Virginia for a short time before returning to New York once again to pursue his passion for food. Gabriel now resides in the Pittsburgh area with his wife Sarah and pit-mix Duke. Gabriel spends his days writing, and evenings as a Personal Chef.
